Non-profit and for-profit community organizations throughout Hinton host a variety of special public and community events throughout the year in our facilities, parks and open green spaces.  Many of these public events - particularly the successful ones - become anticipated festivities and sometimes a point of pride for our community. While there are aspects of event planning and execution that are shared across all types of events from weddings to corporate conferences, public events tend to have their own host of needs and challenges. One of these unique public event planning factors is working with the municipality to obtain the proper permits and resources required when hosting a successful event.

Parks, Recreation & Culture has developed three event checklists to assist you when planning your next event:

Events - Special and Community Event Checklist

Includes: Dance festivals, music concerts, theatre productions, outdoor festivals/events, trade shows, ceremonies, and fundraisers.
