Packages 

The Town of Hinton rents audio equipment to community groups and the general public for various area productions, events, and weddings. A qualified sound technician is required when operating any Town of Hinton audio equipment. Workshops are held in the spring and fall. Available audio packages include:

SM Audio A - Yamaha StagePas 400  - $125.00 plus GST (2-day rental)

This system is small but packs a big punch! An ideal system for events requiring a quick and easy, user-friendly setup. System package includes:

  • 1 microphone
  • Bluetooth, iPad and iPod compatible
  • 2 speakers in a rolling bag - 200w each
  • 2 speaker stands
  • Cabling

SM Audio B - Yamaha StagePas 600  - $150.00 plus GST (2-day rental)

This system delivers an even bigger punch than the StagePas 400.  An ideal system for events requiring a quick and easy, user-friendly setup. System package includes:

  • 1 microphone
  • Bluetooth, iPad and iPod compatible 
  • 2 speakers 300w each
  • 2 speaker stands
  • Cabling

MED Audio Package - $175.00 plus GST (2-day rental)

This package includes:

  • 2  Yorkville YZL 15P 15" Powered Speakers (1000w ea.) - Designed as an all-purpose speaker with the Musician & DJ in mind, each YXL cabinet features 3 channels. The cabinet supports Bluetooth streaming and EQ pushbutton controls for Concert, Club & Monitor modes. 
  • 2 Speaker stands
  • 2 wired microphones (Shure SM58 or similar) with mic stands
  • All necessary cabling
  • Yamaha MG20XU mixing console

LGE Audio Package - $250.00 plus GST (2-day rental)

This package includes:

  • 2 Yorkville YZL15P - 15" Powered Speakers (1000w ea.) - Designed as an all-purpose speaker with the Musician & DJ in mind, each YXL cabinet features 3 channels. The cabinet supports Bluetooth streaming and EQ pushbutton controls for Concert, Club & Monitor modes. 
  • 2 Yorkville YZL12P - 12" Powered Speakers (1000w ea.) - Designed as an all-purpose speaker with the Musician & DJ in mind, each YXL cabinet features 3 channels. The cabinet supports Bluetooth streaming and EQ pushbutton controls for Concert, Club & Monitor modes. 
  • 2 Speaker Stands
  • 4 passive monitors
  • 4 - 6 wired microphones and mic stands
  • 16-input audio snake
  • Amplifier for monitors
  • Cabling
  • Yamaha MG20XU or Yamaha TF3 digital mixing console (dependent on availability)
