One-Off Financial Request

The Town of Hinton recognizes the crucial role the municipality has in responsibly and effectively supporting one-time and emergent Initiatives in Hinton and area that positively develop the community and the economy. 

This funding stream is open to Hinton and area non-profit groups, excluding governments and government agencies. The Town can provide monetary contributions or in-kind contributions, such as equipment, labour, free or reduced rent of Town facilities of services, passes for recreation/transit, and Town promotional items. Please note that requests must be submitted no later than seven (7) complete days prior to the meeting date on which the Group wishes Council to consider the matter.

Steps to funding

  1. Review One-Off Financial Request Policy to see if it applies to your organization / group,
  2. If eligible fill in Appendix A: Request Submission Form,
  3. To submit a completed Request Submission Form:
