About the Board
The Intermunicipal Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (ISDAB) hears appeals on decisions made by the Town’s Subdivision Authority and Development Authority in both the Town of Hinton and the Town of Edson. Board members are responsible for issuing decisions based on evidence presented by parties at hearings while adhering to applicable legislation.
Members
The Town of Hinton appoints up to five board members to this bommittee. Board members should demonstrate critical and analytical thinking skills, integrity, and show concern for the interests of parties impacted by development. Knowledge of architecture/construction, land use planning, and/or the subdivision and development process would be an asset.
