The Infrastructure Services Department has begun plowing residential streets as part of our winter maintenance program.
Current Progress:
- Plowing has already started in school zones to ensure safe access for students and families.
- Crews will then move to streets with steep grades. These may be cleared before streets with flat surfaces to maintain safety and accessibility.
What to Expect:
- Signs will be posted in neighbourhoods to indicate when plowing will occur in your area.
- Crews will work systematically to cover all residential streets as quickly and efficiently as possible.
How You Can Help:
- Please remove all vehicles from the street before plowing begins.
- Remove any driveway ramps or other obstructions from the roadway to allow plows to operate safely and effectively.
