Hinton’s Freedom Express bus is experiencing mechanical issues, and Council has decided the bus needs to be replaced. Getting a new bus will take a few months. 

While we wait, the Edson Seniors Transportation Society has generously loaned us one of their buses (see photo). We’re deeply grateful for their support and community spirit. 

This temporary bus will begin serving Hinton residents on February 3, 2026. 

We expect the new Freedom Express bus to arrive around May 2026.
