Tree Flagging in Thompson Lake
Hinton residents and recreators may have noticed flagging of trees occurring in the area of the Thompson Lake development.
This flagging is part of pre-planning for essential FireSmart activities to lessen the wildfire risk in the region. A full plan, taking into account long term development plans in the area as well as current fire mitigation techniques, will be shared with the public once complete.
