Meeting Facilities

The Town of Hinton offers several choices for meeting room and facility rentals.

Dr. Duncan Murray Recreation Centre

This facility has several different rentals options, including a meeting room, the People's Centre, and concession eating area.

Recreation Meeting Room

Our meeting room has executive-style flexible tables and chairs to seat up to 12 members, large whiteboard for plotting those amazing plans and fundraisers, a prep sink for easy snacks and refreshments, and an overhead LCD projector and screen to illustrate your points clearly.

Peoples Centre

The Peoples Centre can accommodate up to 80 occupants if setting up with tables and chairs, or up to 100 occupants lecture-style (chairs only). The room is equipped with a small kitchen, fridge, and stove, which makes the room ideal for small parties. It is also equipped with TV, VCR, and projector screen, and can be used for small workshops. The facility can also be used for exercise groups.

Hinton Centre

Simple Elegance & Modern Convenience. With one of the largest banquet halls anywhere in the region, first-class service options, and modern facilities, the Hinton Centre is an ideal venue for all of your special occasions. The 8,000-square-foot Grand Hall, well-equipped boardrooms, and large commercial kitchen make this the ideal venue for spectacular banquets, elegant weddings, concerts, social events, business conventions, and board meetings.

Hinton Municipal Library

The public library has multiple room options and can accommodate small business groups of up to 6 people or large presentations for up to 75 people. Please visit the Hinton Municipal Library website for more details.

The West Fraser Guild: Home of the Performing Arts Theatre of Hinton

The West Fraser Guild, built in 2017, is the home of Performing Arts Theatre in Hinton (PATH). The building has a stage area made with a Plyron finish, stage drapery and a motorized screen 7m (22.96 ft.) for cinema at the front of house. There are retractable and loose theatre seats that accommodate 162 patrons with front row seating that supports persons with disabilities. In the lobby, there is a box office, bar/concession with washroom amenities and access to the theatre - and a stairwell to a second-floor mezzanine where the operational equipment is housed.  A complete sound, light and video system that supports the operators of the theatre to provide any audience with a state of the art experience.
