As of July 2025, terms in the purchase agreement between the Town of Hinton and PAR999 Holdings Inc. have expired, therefore the land sale will not be completed and the development will no longer be moving forward. The Town of Hinton retains ownership of the subject golf course lands.
Background:
In March 2022, PAR999 Holdings Inc. signed a purchase agreement with the Town of Hinton to buy a portion of the Town-owned golf course lands. PAR999 Holdings Inc. plans to construct Bliss of Hinton on the land. The project includes a hotel/resort, conference centre, retail activities, food and beverage offerings and a research and study facility that aims to enhance Hinton as an educational and career destination.
In January 2024, an Open House was held by PAR999 Holdings Inc. to provide information to the public about the proposed development and offer an opportunity to ask questions.
