Hinton Transit
In 2009, the Hinton Transit System became a permanent service for the residents of Hinton. The town holds a contract with First Canada, which owns the buses and manages the maintenance of the buses while the transit drivers run the service. This service runs six days a week throughout the community on a fixed route and arrives at each stop on the hour. The buses hold 21-24 passengers and are walker, and stroller accessible, as well as having bike racks.
Schedule & Map
We're on Google Maps! Just visit the Google Maps website or use the Google Maps app to plan your transit trip, including departure times and trip durations.
Printed copies of the transit map are available anywhere you can buy transit passes; alternatively, download the PDF here.
Hours
Public Transit will operate a 60-minute bus loop starting at stop #1/33 (Green Square) and heading to the valley for a loop, before coming back up to the Green Square for another stop and doing a hill loop/Thompson Lake Loop and back to the Green Square to begin again.
