Bouldering Wall Closure
The bouldering wall will be closed from Friday, July 4, to Tuesday, July 8. During this time, the Town has secured a contractor to perform a complete route reset. The new routes will cater to climbers of all levels, with a focus on younger and less experienced climbers while still providing challenges for our avid mountaineers.
Impact on Regular Programming
Please note that due to the closure, the following programs will be interrupted:
- Toonie Lunch Climb: Cancelled from 12 – 1 p.m. on Friday to Tuesday.
- Adults Only Climb: Cancelled on Tuesday, July 8, from 7 – 9 p.m.
We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Regular programming will resume on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.
Other Facilities
While the bouldering wall is closed, please remember that our squash, racquetball, and basketball courts remain open and available during regular hours at regular admission rates.

Remember, the bouldering wall can be booked for birthday parties or private events! Contact our Customer Service team at the Recreation Centre for more information and to make a reservation. With a fresh reset starting July 9, the bouldering wall will be the perfect place to beat the heat this summer season.
