Since this mower will play a key role in maintaining Hinton's sports fields and green spaces, we want the community to be part of the process. Please submit your best name idea, and the Town of Hinton selection committee will create a shortlist for a public vote. If your suggested name is chosen as the winner, you’ll be entered into a random draw to win a Town of Hinton gift basket valued at $75. If multiple people have submitted the same winning name, one winner will be selected through the random draw.
Submissions are open until April 11, 2025, @ 8:15 a.m.

- Eligibility: By submitting your suggested name, you permit the Town of Hinton to use that name in promotional materials related to the new mower. You are a Hinton Resident. Your name submission must not include any profanity or inappropriate language.

- Contest Period: Name submissions will be accepted between April 1, 2025 and April 11, 2025, @ 8:15 a.m. Voting for the name selection will be accepted between April 11, 2025, @ 4:00 p.m. and April 18, 2025, @ 8:15 a.m.
- How to Win: Names submitted before April 11, 202,5, at 8:15 a.m. will be provided to the Town of Hinton Name Selection Committee. The Selection Committee will choose five (5) names to shortlist for the community to vote on between April 11 and April 18, 2025. Once the community votes for their favourite name, the people who submitted that name will be entered into a random draw, with the winner announced on April 23, 2025.
