The communications department coordinates Town communications; assists with public engagement; ensures information is provided in a timely, thorough manner; and helps residents engage with the Town.

Municipal Communications Strategy

The Town of Hinton advances communications by implementing three- to four-year Municipal Communications' Strategies. The Municipal Communications Strategy 2022-2026 reflects on previous strategies, achievements, and opportunities to learn, plus summarizes future actions. 

Newsletters

The Town of Hinton publishes Hinton Highlights in both weekly and monthly format. The weekly version is a digital newsletter delivered directly to subscribers' email inboxes every Friday afternoon. Previous editions can be viewed here.

The monthly Hinton Highlights (previously Hinton Municipal News) is distributed with utility bills, electronically and physically. Previous editions are linked below:
