    The Town of Hinton along with ISL Engineering and Land Services, is developing a Parks, Open Space and Trails Master Plan. The purpose of the Master Plan is to identify gaps, needs and priorities for the Town. As part of the development of the Master Plan, we are undertaking a review of the Town’s existing parks, open spaces and trail networks, including best practices from similar municipalities, and implementing a comprehensive engagement process to gather feedback from Town residents and stakeholders.

    Break-A-Leg Theatre presents two plays for the price of one admission. Little Scrooge by Patricia Barry Rumble is an adaptation of the Christmas Classic - The Christmas Carol, only this time around its about Ebeneezer's daughter Eben. The second play, The Christmas Tree is by Canadian playwright Norm Foster. One man. One woman. One Tree. These plays are both age-appropriate for the entire family and will surely get you into the Christmas spirit

    Stay and Play is one of our most popular programs! Come enjoy some unstructured playtime in our play center. This is a drop-in program! Baby Rhyme Time is a thirty minute fun filled program for babies under 12 months and the people that love them. Strengthen your bond with baby through nursery rhymes, tickle games, lap jogs, songs and stories! Puppet Show at the Library- The library and Parent Link will be hosting a puppet show, and a craft! Please show up at 10:30am.

  1. Super Duper Storytime

    Our 1/2 hour storytime is open to children ages 2 - 6 and their caregivers. Come to the library and discover the joy of reading through stories, songs, crafts, and MORE! Before leaving, each child is encouraged to choose a "special" book to take home. These books must be checked out at the desk when leaving the library, so be sure to bring your library card. Program runs every THURSDAY from 10:30 - 11:00 am and the first Thursday of every month is a puppet show.
