The Town of Hinton along with ISL Engineering and Land Services, is developing a Parks, Open Space and Trails Master Plan. The purpose of the Master Plan is to identify gaps, needs and priorities for the Town.
As part of the development of the Master Plan, we are undertaking a review of the Town’s existing parks, open spaces and trail networks, including best practices from similar municipalities, and implementing a comprehensive engagement process to gather feedback from Town residents and stakeholders.

Baby Rhyme Time is a thirty minute fun filled program for babies under 12 months and the people that love them. Strengthen your bond with baby through nursery rhymes, tickle games, lap jogs, songs and stories!

Check out Hinton's finest Christmas light displays and leave the driving to us! This is a bus tour for individuals and families to view Christmas light displays around Hinton. Choose your bus pick up location, either BRIDGES or Freson Bros. (on the hill). Following the light tour, there will be gathering at BRIDGES with hot chocolate, snacks, and crafts for kids. A bus will take people back to the Freson Bros. pick up location at 7:30pm. Call Brooke at FCSS to reserve your spot(s) on the bus at 780-865-6036.

Our 1/2 hour storytime is open to children ages 2 - 6 and their caregivers.
Come to the library and discover the joy of reading through stories, songs, crafts, and MORE! Before leaving, each child is encouraged to choose a "special" book to take home. These books must be checked out at the desk when leaving the library, so be sure to bring your library card.
Program runs every THURSDAY from 10:30 - 11:00 am and the first Thursday of every month is a puppet show.
