This free online session presented by The White Hatter is for parents, caregivers and educators to better understand Teen Sexting, Nudes, and Distribution of Intimate Images, and the Law.

Prior to the internet, intimate images were shared between teens via the use of polaroid pictures. Today, the cellphone, and its ability to send pictures and videos instantaneously, has become the norm in how teens will share what they call “nudes.” This presentation will provide academic peer-reviewed research, as well as case law examples, to help teens understand consent, choices, consequences and how they can take specific actions to reduce legal liability and reduce harm emotionally, psychologically, physically, and socially specific to this issue.
