    Respite care provides temporary care relief for a caregiver or caregiving family, enabling you to take a much-needed break from the demands of lovingly caring for a family member due to aging, disability, or special needs. There are different types of respite care, including:
    - In-home
    - Out-of-home
    - Paid
    - Unpaid (volunteers, family, friends)
    - Non-medical
    - Skilled health care (medical needs, bathing, dressing, feeding)
    - Homemaker services (meal prep, shopping, housekeeping)
    - Overnight

    Please join us on October 22 from 6-8 pm for our Respite Care Community Input Session where we will get together to discuss non-medical, temporary respite care service needs. Participants are able to join in-person or via Zoom – registration is required.

    Are you a caregiver for a child with special needs or a disability? The Family Resource Network offers a monthly Exploring Abilities Support Group. Raising children with special needs may require extra resources to meet physical, intellectual, emotional, language, social, or behavioural needs.
