Minute With Council Appointment Lodging Form
Residents are welcome to speak to Council about issues, events, celebrations or concerns during Minute with Council. At the beginning of each Council Meeting, the chair of the meeting opens the floor to the public to speak and share with Council members, administration and meeting observers.
As we determine the "new normal" in this pandemic response, the Town of Hinton has established a procedure to take part in Minute with Council. Please use this form to receive an invite code to join our proceedings remotely.
This process is being established to avoid risks of public meeting teleconferencing, such as inappropriate or abusive interjections by anonymous or false identities. We appreciate your understanding should this cause any inconvenience for you.

During Minute with Council residents are welcome to speak to Council about issues, events, celebrations or concerns. The floor is open at the beginning of the meeting to the public to share with Council members, Administration and meeting observers. To ensure this time is constructive and welcoming to those participating and those present, the guidelines to the public for Minute with Council are:
Keep your discussion to no more than one minute in length;
Speak directly to the Chair of the meeting when addressing Council;
Refrain from asking questions of Council or Administration, as this is not intended to be a Q&A session; and
Speak respectfully, as the use of abusive, insulting or aggressive tone or language will not be tolerated.
