Do I have to sort my waste?
Yes, all waste coming to the landfill must be sorted. All e-waste (e.g., computers, TVs), paint, and aerosol cans are placed in containers. The landfill accepts tires, used oil and filters, batteries, fluorescent tubes, white goods, metals, and clean compost materials year round. These materials are recycled. There is no fee to residential customers for these items. Residential wet waste is placed in transfer bins.
