Pitch-In Week Starts April 22

Every year in mid-April, Canadians are asked to volunteer an hour or two to help clean up our surroundings as part of Pitch-In Week.

In Hinton, The Town will support you in doing it, providing gloves and garbage bags at the Infrastructure Services Building. Employees are also available to pick up any garbage you gather, with just a phone call to the office (780-865-2634) for the bags location. We have employees trained and ready to help residents deal with any possibly bio-hazardous material they may come across, so there’s no need to compromise your safety to help clean up our town.

This is a great reason to get outdoors with your coworkers or friends and help keep the green spaces around your place of work or homes looking their best.

Tag @TownofHinton when/if you decide to post you and your friends Pitching In on Facebook and we'll include you in our wrap up post at the end of Pitch-In Week.
