Town of Hinton Staff take Part in Jersey Day
All Town of Hinton employees who are not required to wear defined uniforms in the course of completing their duties were welcomed to take part in Jersey Day today, in tribute of the families of the Humboldt Broncos bus crash victims.
Jersey day was first proposed by a number of hockey moms from BC - find more information on CBC here. The organizers have asked that "...people wear a sports jersey, take a photo of themselves and post it on social media with the hashtag #jerseysforhumboldt."
Staff from the Government Centre (above) and FCSS (below) were able to take a moment to capture the occasion this afternoon.
Use the Facebook share icon below to share (and make sure to include the #jerseysforhumboldt) and let everyone know your community stands with Humboldt.
