Public Notice:  Meadow Drive Community BBQ Rescheduled to July 13, 2017

ATTN: Residents of Meadow Drive

The Town of Hinton has recently approved deep utility rehabilitation works in your neighbourhood to GS Construction.  As indicated previously, this work includes the replacement of all sanitary mains and water lines including service line replacement to the property line, installation of storm main, and replacement of sidewalks, curbs, gutters and road.  As an established neighbourhood, we recognize that your private service connections may also be aged and in need of replacement.  The project requires locating your services to be able to reconnect your existing service lines and provide the opportunity for you to have your private connections replaced at your cost during the construction program.

The works will be starting in April 2018 and we will continue be in touch with all residents to see who wishes to replace service connections.  Foothills Surveys and Hoggan Engineering and Testing have performed topographic surveys and borehole investigations in your neighborhood for the proposed work. This work was completed to ensure that construction works are completed properly and your private services can be located.

If you have input or would like to be more informed on the rehabilitation project, we will be setting up a community neighbour barbeque (open house) on July 13, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. on Meadow Drive. Representatives of the Town of Hinton, ISL Engineering and Land Services Ltd., and GS Construction will be present in order to offer clarifications and to answer any questions you may have.

Thank you to all residents who have been in touch and we will continue to stay in contact as the final design of the work is detailed.
