Pool Shutdown Progress: 

Week 5 Update

The Aquatic and Facility Maintenance team continues to make great progress during week 5 of the pool shutdown. 

Here's a look at what was completed or is underway this week: 

• Installed five (5) new toilets
• Disinfected garbage bins
• Cleaned and organized the WIBIT obstacle and storage room
• Disinfected deck walls
• Replaced the deck shower light
• Continued tile work around the deck
• Cleaned and organized the spray park, mechanical, and storage room

Thank you for your continued patience and support as we work towards reopening a refreshed, clean, and well-maintained aquatic space for everyone to enjoy.  

Remember, all other rec centre amenities remain open, including the bouldering wall, arenas and courts, so come on down to enjoy some indoor recreation.
