Mark your calendar! The Town of Hinton is proud to host Ridges and Roots: Alberta Day Celebration on Sunday, August 31 at Kinsmen Park from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Join us for a vibrant afternoon honouring Alberta’s history, culture, and mountain spirit—with food trucks, live music, a pie contest, art displays, a duck race, and more. 

What to expect:

• Live local performances
• Food trucks featuring local and international flavours
• Art activities and vendor showcases
• Family fun, including the Hardisty Duck Race
• A friendly community pie-baking competition

All activities are free to attend. Bring your lawn chair, your Alberta pride, and help us celebrate what makes this province—and our community—so special.
