Councillor Resignation Announcement

The Town of Hinton formally announces that Councillor Stuart Taylor has resigned from his position, effective May 16, as he is moving out of the jurisdiction.

Stuart Taylor served as a councillor for Hinton Town Council from 2013-2017 and was re-elected in the 2021 Municipal Election.

“It was a privilege to serve the people of Hinton and be on Council. My wife and I are moving to be closer to our grandchildren in Grande Prairie. I wish the current and future Council the best of luck in the future.” – Stuart Taylor

Since there is a General Municipal Election on October 20, 2025, no by-election will be held to fill the vacancy.
