Emergency Preparedness Drill Coming Soon - Saturday, May 3 

The Town of Hinton is getting ready for a planned emergency preparedness drill on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

This is part of our commitment to community safety and training for emergency personnel. 

This is only a drill – not a real emergency. 

One neighbourhood will be involved in this voluntary exercise. Emergency service personnel and drones will be active in the area on May 3.  

More information, including details for affected residents, will be shared soon. In the meantime, we encourage all Hinton residents to review their household’s emergency plan and learn more about emergency preparedness at www.hinton.ca/prepare.
