Public Notice: Erith Park OUthouse Fire - Closed for Safety 

On March 31, the outhouse at Erith Park was damaged by fire. As a result, the area has been roped off and is not safe for public use. 

The Town of Hinton urges all park users to stay clear of the taped-off area for safety. The fire caused structural damage, and hidden hazards such as unstable materials or sharp debris may exist.  

For everyone’s safety, please respect the barriers and signage in place. 

The Town of Hinton Parks Service Unit is currently exploring the option of installing temporary portable washrooms for park users while we work on a longer-term solution.
