Town of Hinton Employees Step Up to Support Food Bank

Since the word went out that the Hinton Food Bank is in urgent need of support, Town of Hinton employees have been gathering up donations from their homes or adding extra items onto their shopping list and bringing them into the office as donations.

In two separate deliveries last week, these donations were left at the food bank drop-off location at 111 Government Rd.

This is the best location to make donations to the Hinton Food Bank, and they accept donations during B.R.I.D.G.E.S operating hours of 10am-5pm Monday to Friday. If those hours don't work for your schedule there are other options available, including:

At the Grocery Store

Both Hinton Friesen Brothers, as well as Canada Safeway, have drop off locations for use. Stop by these business' customer service desks for more details on how you can make a donation.

Parks West Mall

A drop off box is available in the Mall as well, located in the center court area.

Cash Donations

If you'd like to make a cash donation to enable the food bank to purchase the goods they are in immediate need of, donations are accepted at Bruce Deal's office at 107 Swanson Drive (during operating hours).
