Skate with Santa & Swim with Elves 

The Dr. Duncan Murray Recreation Centre is feeling festive and full of appreciation for YOU!  Join us for Customer Appreciation Day on Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 1 - 4 pm, where holiday magic takes over at the Rec Centre. 

 This fun-filled afternoon features two magical events designed for all ages:

• Skate with Santa: Glide across the ice with Santa himself, play festive games like Pin the Nose on Rudolph and Antler Toss and get creative with holiday crafts hosted by the Hinton Municipal Library. Santa needs time to get his skates laced and will be on the ice by 1:30 PM to skate with everyone. 
• Swim with Elves: Dive into the holiday spirit with pool games, prizes, and a unique opportunity to "walk on water" in the main pool. Don’t miss the fun on the new waterslide as well. 

 To keep the festive spirit alive, warm beverages like hot chocolate and coffee will be served, adding a cozy touch to the festivities. Thank you to our sponsors for bringing us these treats at no additional cost. 

 Admission is free, and attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable item or monetary donation to the Hinton Food Bank to help spread the holiday cheer. Contributions are appreciated but not required to join the fun.
