The Hinton Stingrays Junior Lifeguard Swim Club is hosting the annual Claire Jones Memorial Swim Meet on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at the Dr. Duncan Murray Recreation Centre Pool. 

This event honors the late Claire Jones’ passion for lifeguarding and lifesaving sport and has become a cherished tradition in the community. It attracts lifeguards and swimmers from across Alberta.

The pool will be closed at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, November 22 to prepare for the event, and all-day Saturday, November 23 during the event. 

Spectators are welcome and encouraged! So go down to the pool and watch lifesaving sport in action.
