Update: Switzer Drive Water Line Construction

Contractors will continue to work along Switzer Drive, starting from the lights at Hardisty Avenue and extending to the Brick, during work hours from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Switzer Drive Water Line Construction project will result in the following disruptions to services, including a small delay to the Hinton Transit bus loop. 

Date: July 29th
Location: Hampshire Road, partially closed. 

Date: July 30th
Location: Switzer Drive, one-lane traffic between Hardisty Ave intersection and King Street. 

• The water supply to Gus' Pizza and Hardisty Creek Village will be shut off for the day. For any issues, contact Contract Superintendent Glenn Pacholok at 403-861-1915.

Date: July 31st & August 1st
Location: Switzer Drive, full closure between Hardisty Ave intersection and King Street. Local traffic only. 

• The water supply will be shut down during the tie-in connection work.
