Beaver Boardwalk Maintenance Update

L-Loop of the Beaver Boardwalk is the focus of Town 2024 annual maintenance project and work is underway.   The project section is between the Bighorn Trail Crossing and the 3-Way Junction.  In addition to temporary closure of L-Loop, M-Section must also be closed to avoid entrapping pedestrians.  Town staff and contractors are levelling boardwalk in L-Loop and also reconstructing about 1/3 of the section.

The target completion date and reopening is August 1.  The next progress update will be on July 24^th.  

Basic “CLOSED” signage is posted and your cooperation is requested. The safety of the recreating public and staff is the Town of Hinton’s first concern in our parks and open spaces.  Please direct all concerns and questions about the project or the closure to:
