Calcium Dust Control Application on Town Gravel Roads

Weather permitting, on Wednesday, July 3 and Thursday, July 4, the Town has scheduled the application of a calcium dust control product to Town gravel roads. Motorists are advised to exercise caution in the areas highlighted on the map provided. Dry conditions are required for the application process.
Please be aware that the application may cause slick conditions on the roads. The product is dark in colour and oily. It may get on vehicles passing through the treated areas for a day or so after the application.
For your safety and the safety of others, please drive carefully and be mindful of the road conditions during this period. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
Date of Application: Wednesday, July 3 to Thursday, July 4
Location: Town Gravel Roads (as indicated on the map), including the Golf Course gravel road on Keil Drive, and the Rowan Recycle Depot.
- Rowan Street Recycling Centre will be closed on Wednesday, July 3rd, to accommodate the calcium dust control process.
