Calcium Dust Control Application on Town Gravel Roads

The calcium dust control application has been postponed, and the new date of application will be weather-dependent and is scheduled for Tuesday, June 25th and Wednesday, June 26th.  Motorists are advised to exercise caution in the areas highlighted on the map provided below.

Please be aware that the application may cause slick conditions on the roads. The product is dark in colour and oily. It may get on vehicles passing through the treated areas for a day or so after the application.

For your safety and the safety of others, please drive carefully and be mindful of the road conditions during this period. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Date of Application: Tuesday, June 25th and Wednesday, June 26th. 

Location: Town Gravel Roads (as indicated on the below map), including the Golf Course gravel road on Keil Drive, and the Rowan Street Recycle Centre.  

The Rowan Street Recycling Centre will be closed all day Tuesday to accommodate the application of the calcium dust control product.
