Calcium Dust Control Application on Town Gravel Roads

Weather permitting, on Thursday, June 20th, and Friday, June 21st, the Town will begin applying calcium dust control product to Town gravel roads. Motorists are advised to exercise caution in the areas highlighted on the map provided below.

Please be aware that the application may cause slick conditions on the roads. The product is dark in colour and oily. It may get on vehicles passing through the treated areas for a day or so after the application.

For your safety and the safety of others, please drive carefully and be mindful of the road conditions during this period. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Date of Application: Thursday, June 20 to Friday, June 21

Location: Town Gravel Roads (as indicated on the below map), including the Golf Course gravel road on Keil Drive, and the Rowan Recycle Depot.
