Dear Contractors and Tradespeople,
In keeping with the initial Contractor's Workshop held on March 27, 2023, the Town of Hinton is pleased to invite you to a follow-up Contractor Workshop focused on the Town of Hinton's procurement policies and procedures. This session aims to provide valuable insights into how the Town conducts its business and the various aspects of our procurement policy.

- Location: Tom Peterson Room, Hinton Municipal Library
The workshop will feature a presentation, offering a comprehensive review of how the Town operates in business matters. Specifically, the session will provide education on the following:
- Town’s Procurement Policy
- Explanation of RFP (Request for Proposal), RFQ (Request for Quote), and Hourly Work (such as time and materials)
- Criteria for utilizing each method and the reasons behind the Town's choice
Understanding these procedures is crucial for contractors and tradespeople engaging in projects within our community. This workshop aims to offer clarity and guidance on navigating Town procurement processes effectively.
