Dr. Duncan Murray Recreation Centre Closes @ 3 PM Saturday 

Notice of Closure for December 2nd, 2023

Please be aware that the Dr.Duncan Murray Recreation Centre will be closed to the public starting at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023. 

We apologize for the inconvenience this closure causes and appreciate your understanding. 

What to expect on December 2nd:

• Hinton Minor Hockey will be hosting a U18 Tournament in both Arenas and the People's Centre from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM. 
  • Ice on the SHA and BTA will not be available to the public for any drop in programming. 
• Scheduled swimming lessons from 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM and lane swimming from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM will take place as planned. 
  • The pool will be closed to the public beginning at 1:00 PM. 
• The Bouldering Wall and Courts will be unavailable during opening hours. 
• The meeting room will be available for bookings from 7 AM to 1:30 PM.
