Pitch-In Week Is Now Upon Us

Every year, from April 17-23, Hintonites are asked to volunteer an hour or two to help clean up. The Town will support you in doing it, providing gloves and garbage bags at the Infrastructure Services office. Employees are also available to pick up any garbage you gather, with just a phone call to the office for the bags location. We have employees trained and ready to help residents deal with any possibly bio-hazardous material they may come across, so there’s no need to compromise your safety to help clean up our town.

This is a great reason to get outdoors with your coworkers or friends and help keep the green spaces around your place of work or homes looking their best.

Pitch in Week

Join the Mayor as he Pitches In!

The Mayor and Town of Hinton Staff will be getting involved with the initiative as well this week.

You can join Mayor Mackin at the Natural Resources Interpretive Park Thursday, starting at 1pm.

Help Out Year Round

Keeping your community clean is a year round job. If you want to help out outside of Pitch-In Week, you can always find support including gloves, bags, help hauling away the garbage, and help with dangerous waste at the Infrastructure Services Building or by calling 780-865-2634.
