Community Peace Officer

Protective Services welcomes a new member to their team, Shannon Krasowski. Shannon has accepted her offer as Community Peace Officer Level 1, for the Town of Hinton. Her first day will be July 4th. She will be working out of the Emergency Services Building and report to Mac de Beaudrap, Director of Protective Services/Fire Chief.
Shannon will be primarily responsible for seeking compliance, facilitating, and enforcing provisions of municipal and provincial Bylaws with an application of fairness and consistency. This position works amicably with the public and other agencies for the purpose of preserving the peace and good of the community through education, compliance, and judicious application of the law.
Shannon brings experience as a Community Peace Officer and a Crisis Intervention Worker, as well as volunteering for Hinton Victim Support Services and Hinton Search and Rescue.
