Hinton, Alta. – On Nov. 18, 2021, at 2:06 PM Hinton RCMP received a call of a truck that had lost some of its load.

A Maroon GMC Sierra with a flatbed was transporting a large amount of insulation and 3 packages fell off the truck on Switzer Drive heading southbound, near the underpass.

Each package weighs approximately 200 lbs. The driver returned to the area shortly after to retrieve them with a friend, but they had already been removed from the roadway.
The insulation is Certainteed R20 (1 total) and R40 (2 total) wrapped in clear cellophane. The total value for the three units was approximately $1000.
