Restrictions Exemption Program Update

Starting today, Alberta vaccine records with QR codes are the only valid Alberta-issued proof of vaccination accepted at the Dr. Duncan Murray Recreation Centre as part of the Restrictions Exemption Program.

Residents can present the QR code on their smartphones or a physical, printed copy. Those who don’t have a printer can call 811 to have a copy mailed to them or visit any registry to have a copy printed for free.

First Nations immunization records, Canadian Armed Forces vaccine records and vaccine records issued by other provinces and territories will also be accepted.

Residents who are not vaccinated can continue to present a negative, privately paid COVID-19 test from the previous 72 hours.
