Canadian National Memorial Day for Firefighters

The National Flag at the fire hall will be flown at half-mast this weekend in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of 9-11 and the Canadian National Memorial Day for Firefighters.

This day honours firefighters who serve across Canada and those who have lost their lives or been injured on the job, for their courage and unwavering commitment to serve their communities.

In Hinton, we are proud of all our firefighters past and present, for their unwavering service to this community since the Department's inception in 1957.
