Switzer Drive and Drinnan Way Mill Overlay Project

The Town of Hinton is continuing to improve the condition of the Town’s infrastructure and is please to announce that the Switzer Drive and Drinnan Way Mill and Overlay project is underway. The projects expected timeframe is June 23rd, 2021 to September 2021.
The Town of Hinton has partnered with E Construction, a division of N.P.A Ltd. and McElhanney Ltd. to complete asphalt milling and resurfacing on two Town of Hinton arterial roadways: Switzer Drive and Drinnan Way. This project includes the removal of the existing pavement and the resurfacing of new asphalt pavement to help extend the life of the existing roadway.
This work will generally not limit access to properties or driveways. On-street parking may temporarily be prohibited during construction. Notices will be given to residents prior to such interruptions. Residents can expect minor delays on Switzer Drive and Drinnan Way during construction. Please respect all safety signage and directions when driving in the area. Your patience and cooperation during construction will be greatly appreciated.
