Community Volunteer Income Tax Program During COVID-19


With the FCSS Office currently closed to the public due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program has been modified to ensure residents are able to file their 2019 taxes.

COVID-19 Community Volunteer Income Tax Program Steps

  1. Determine Eligibility: You must have a simple tax situation and be below a certain income threshold.
  2. Intake Call: Call FCSS at 780-865-6036 to fill out your forms over the phone (this will take about 10 minutes).
  3. Form Drop-Off: Email images of your tax slips or visit FCSS at 821 Switzer Drive and put tax slips into the envelope provided.
  4. Tax Filing: Volunteers will file your taxes within two weeks; once everything is complete, we will call you.
