BRIDGES is offering the COMPASS program
(Caregiver Orientation for Mobilizing Personal Assets and Strengths for
Self-Care), facilitated by Randy Smith from Hinton FCSS. The
sessions run Thursday evenings; October 10, 24, Nov. 7, 14, 21, 28, all at
COMPASS is a 6 week course for people who assist family members or
friends living with challenges resulting from illness, disability or aging. Register by calling BRIDGES at (780) 865-4464. A
registration fee of $40 will be due at the first session and includes the whole
program including materials.
BRIDGES will be using COMPASS as our path to facilitation of a Peer Support Group for parents and family of people living with mental illness, however the program will be made available to all caregivers.
With limited space available, we recommend early registration.
