ParentTalk
Across Hinton, groups are joining together to take action, creating positive change and seeking to create the best possible Hinton for our residents. One of the many coalitions and partnerships to come from this growing movement is the partnership of Hinton Kids for Success (HKFS) and Bringing Empowered Students Together (BEST). Together, these groups will host a series of speaker engagements, offering parents an opportunity to hear important, relevant information directly from local experts.
Starting in January of 2017, HKFS and BEST will begin hosting parent nights. These nights will offer free childcare for those who are attending, a reputable local speaker, and a space for discussion focused on relevant topics for parents, particularly for mental health and childhood development.
Events are scheduled to take place the fourth Thursday of each month, from 6 – 715 pm

Hinton Kids for Success
Providing out of school childcare for students enrolled in Kindergarten up to age 12, HKFS offers a safe transition from the school to a controlled, supervised environment where children can socialize, play and learn. HKFS children are greeted at the school bus drop off and escorted to the Guild Space. In addition to fun programming, HKFS offers homework support.
