Councillor Ryan Maguhn

Councillor Ryan Maguhn is a local boy, born and (mostly) raised in Hinton. Ryan spent some time in the United States in his youth, earning a Bachelor of Science in High School Social Studies, with a focus on Political Science and History. Maguhn has experience in politics, having served multiple terms as vice, and then full, president of the Rainy River Community College Senate.

In 2005, Ryan returned to Hinton to begin teaching at Gerard Redmond Community Catholic School. He taught there until 2016 when he accepted a position at Harry Collinge High School, where he now teaches and serves as an Assistant Principal.

Maguhn is blessed with a loving and supportive extended family, and it is with great pride that he, his wife Nicole, and son Mareck call Hinton home.
